The property is located at the bottom of a private drive 200m from the village road. The cottages are in the middle of beautiful countryside with wildlife and walks on the door step.
We have listed below some points of interest around Eweleaze Farm Countryside to help you when visiting us at Tincleton Lodge and Rose Cottage.
Our cattle extensively graze the rich pastures & water meadows as part of a Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
Over 100 acres of maize are grown on the farm to feed cattle during the Winter months.
Mo, Emily’s horse is happy to share her field at the end of the drive with some Simmental beef cattle.
Combinable crops are an important part of crop rotation. Milling wheat varieties are grown for seed production.
Great days outside! enjoy the peace, tranquility and freedom of private woodland and riverside walks.
The River Frome is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Our Nature Trail follows the meandering river rich in wildlife.
Otter our black Labrador loves children & playing in the streams & he's very friendly. Martha our miniature Dachshund is a little more timid but very affectionate.
Stunning streams are home to minnows, sticklebacks, kingfishers and many species of wildfowl. These mute swans hatched cygnets on the edge of the withy bed.
We recently stayed at Tincleton Lodge and it was amazing! We were there to celebrate a family member's 40th birthday, and it was just superb. Everyone loved the house, the woodburners, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the decor, just everything! We carved pumkins outside on the beautiful lawn furniture and if it had been warmer in the evening a glass of something fizzy outside listening to the stream would have been lovely.
