Things To Do
Nature Walk in Tincleton
Guests are always made welcome and are free to explore the farm. For nature lovers this walk and surrounding area is absolute paradise with miles of beautiful woodland and riverside walks. Fishing platforms have been constructed to enable children (and adults) to learn to fish on private lakes and a nature trail follows the meandering River Frome, renowned for its brown trout and grayling fishing, which is also available to guests by arrangement.
The water meadows are rich in wildlife and the River Frome is now a recognised Site of Special Scientific Interest due to its populations of rare species such as the otter and water vole.
The Nature Trail is not a public right of way and due to its privacy some parts may be obstructed with overgrown vegetation. Please be aware of deep water, slippery footbridges and obviously stinging nettles! The cattle are generally friendly but must be respected especially when there are new born calves. Please abide by the Countryside code and close all gates behind you. All children must be supervised at all times. We hope you enjoy the walk.

We recently stayed at Tincleton Lodge and it was amazing! We were there to celebrate a family member's 40th birthday, and it was just superb. Everyone loved the house, the woodburners, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the decor, just everything! We carved pumkins outside on the beautiful lawn furniture and if it had been warmer in the evening a glass of something fizzy outside listening to the stream would have been lovely.
Sue and Gary - Had a wonderful week - the house is superb and disabled facilities first class.

David, Amanda and Emily - Wonderful house in a fabulous location with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Emily loves all of the animals and we all had some very happy days out and evenings in together. Looking forward to a repeat visit next year.
